You must hold a full Australian drivers licence and be over the age of 25 to hire with us.
If you are over the age of 75 you can still hire but our insurance company requires a letter from your doctor stating that you are safe to drive/tow.

• Public Holiday Hire – Minimum 4 Days (Pick up Thursday if holiday Friday or return Tuesday if holiday Monday)
• Melbourne Cup Weekend Hire – Minimum 5 Days (Return Wednesday)

Your vehicle’s towing capacity figures should be listed in the owner’s manual or on a sticker inside your car door. You are looking for ‘braked’ tow capacity.

Yes. All of our hires have a fully comprehensive Australia wide insurance policy included in the price of the hire rates, there are no additional fees required. Your personal items are not covered in the caravan insurance. We recommend taking out your own personal travel insurance for your trip once you have completed your booking.

Yes, a security bond of $1,000.00 is required for each hire agreement which covers you under our insurance – this will normally be refunded to you within 7 days of the goods being returned and is subject to adherence to the terms and conditions of your hire.

Our caravans come fully equipped with all the internal and external amenities you will require for your time away – you can see the list of inclusions on each hire items page.
All you need to pack is your linen, clothes and food.

Not at all. We will spend up to an hour thoroughly going over your hire with you before you leave our premises to ensure that you feel comfortable.

We calculate the hire of a caravan or camper trailer on a daily calendar basis. That means that irrespective of what time it is picked up or returned the pickup day is counted as 1 day rental and the return day as 1 day rental.
You also have the option to pick up the afternoon prior from 2.00pm and pay only a half days hire rate or return on your final day of hire before 10.00am free of charge.

Its no problem! All of our vans are already fitted with electric brake controller systems for your convenience. There is no additional charge for this.

All vehicles towing must comply with industry towing capacity requirements and have a correctly rated tow bar fitted. The towing vehicle and tow bar must both have a towing rating that exceeds the ATM rating of the Caravan. The tow vehicle and tow bar must both have a maximum ball load Rating that exceeds the ball loading of the Caravan at any time. It is the responsibility of the hirer to always ensure that they do not ever exceed any of these ratings when they have the Caravan partly or fully loaded.

To be compliant with Australian law, anyone towing a caravan must be able to see 20 metres behind them and four metres either side of the towed outfit. In order to meet this requirement, almost all vehicles will need additional towing mirrors – these are available for hire for $20.00

All of our caravans have a 7 pin flat plug on them. If you have a round plug on your car we have adaptors available onsite.

We offer delivery and pickup services anywhere in Australia and can provide you with an additional quote for this service (Conditions apply).

All of our caravans are to be driven on bitumen roads, however, some well-made dirt roads are acceptable into camp grounds etc. Strictly NO corrugated roads or 4WD tracks.

No, there are no restrictions. You can take them anywhere in Australia

Yes. Your hire must be returned in the same clean condition it went out to you in.
If it is not a minimum cleaning fee of $150.00 will be applied.

Yes, your gas bottle/s will be full on pickup – you can refill these during your hire, should you empty them. If they come back empty you will be charged for the refill but only if the bottle is completely empty – otherwise there is no charge.

All of our caravans are set up with 12V power meaning that you will be able to use the lights and water pump without power. The fridge and stove will run on gas (supplied). Depending on usage you can normally get 2-3 days out of the battery before it will go flat. To recharge you must plug into power again. You can also hire a generator which will run/charge the caravan for you.

Cancellation fee’s apply as follows:

(a) If cancelled over 30 days prior to pick-up date: 10% of the full rental charges.

(b) If cancelled within 7-29 days of pick-up date: 50% of the full rental charges.

(c) If cancelled 1-6 days prior to pick-up date: 75% of full rental charges.

(d) If cancelled on the day of pick-up or no show: No refund available

A Caravan Queen is somewhere between a Double and a standard Queen bed as either one or both corners are rounded/cut off to make room for easy access and movement in the caravan around the ends of the bed.
